 தமிழில் காண : கிளிக்
Hi All,
CHOCOLATE FUDGE!! My neighbour kids were repeatedly insisting me for chocolates. As now holidays for them so it was so easy for them to eat my brain all day 😊 .
From day one they were asking me to make chocolates so I decided to make them some before I travel to my home town for vacations.I noticed some choco chips were in my refrigerator for long time so decided to make fudge instead of normal chocolates.
Making fudge is very easy , I made them in 15 mins and served in 2 hours to kids..kids happy and Iam finally relieved.
The easy peasy recipe is as below,

RECIPE INSPIRED FROM : YUMMYTUMMYARTHI.COM
YIELDS : 18 PIECES.

INGREDIENTS :
Choco chips - 1 cup.
Butter – 1 Tablespoon
Condensed milk – 1/3 cup.

METHOD :
  1. Boil water in a wide kadai or vessel .
  2. In a non stick pan or a vessel add choco chips, butter ,condensed milk and keep the vessel inside the boiling water with bottom touching to water.
  3. Make sure water does not spill or enter the chocochips pan ( it is called double boiling method).Pls refer picture for clear understanding.
  4. Slowly the choco chips will start melting , remove from heat when the chips melts completely.
  5. Using a spoon mix well , and if lumps noted again keep the vessel in hot water to make sure everything is melted completely and mixes well.
  6. Now add chopped nuts and mix well.
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased plate or moulds and refrigerate for 2 hours or more till the fudges set to hard.
  8. Once set remove, slice and enjoy.
NOTE :
  1. Instead of double boiling method , you can add chocochips , butter , condensed milk in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for a minute ..This is more easy.

    HAPPY COOKING!!

KADAMBA / KANAVA MASALA /SQUID FISH CURRY

Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai. One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton. The cleaning part is little tricky but easy, I suggest once you finished cleaning dispose the waste immediately out of your house as the waste from squid fish is very smelly and also it starts leaving water .So dispose the waste of squid as quick as possible. Other than that the fish tastes heaven , spicy, yummy and very easy to cook. I have
